Partner & Head of Alternative Investments
Jane has worked for 22+ years at KPMG, the last 10 of which she has been partner based in Luxembourg (until 2017 when she moved to LuxSE). She was Head of the Alternative Investments audit practice as well as Head of Sustainability Services. Jane was the “face of private equity” for KPMG for many years and has worked extensively in promotional and technical committees at various industry associations including ALFI, LPEA, IRE, ABBL.
Specialised in the investment management sector, Jane’s clients have included Ashmore Group, Apax, EQT, Insight Investment, InvestIndustrial, Pantheon, Park Square, Terra Firma, Triodos, European Investment Bank, European Investment Fund.
Appointed member of the Technical Expert Group on Sustainable Finance
In June 2018, Jane was selected as one of only 35 professional experts across Europe to be an official member of the European Commission’s Technical Expert Group on Sustainable Finance (TEG). The TEG is responsible for advising the Commission on technical and market oriented practical implementation measures for the EU’s Sustainable Finance Action Plan.
Head of Sustainable Finance
Appointed in early 2017 as Head of Sustainable Finance at Luxembourg Stock Exchange, Jane has led the definition and implementation of LuxSE’s sustainable finance strategy, including being responsible for the Luxembourg Green Exchange (LGX), the world’s first and leading exchange dedicated to the listing of sustainable securities.
Under Jane’s leadership, LGX received several international awards in 2018 and 2019, including being shortlisted for the FT/IFC Innovation in Finance award and receiving best stock exchange from Environmental Finance.
